| What do the Olympic rings mean? |
| The color
of the rings were chosen by the International Olympic Committee (I.O.C) to
represent the union of the 5 continents Australia, Africa, America, Asia
& Europe. The white backround symbolizes peace thoughout the games. The five colors from left to right are Blue, Black, Red across the top with yellow and green along the bottom. These colors are found on most flags of the world, and hold no other particular signifiance. |
