To mark the 25th Anniversary of Coal Bowl, the Board of Directors, through the generosity of Manulife Financial, established a “Wall of Recognition” to honor those, who over the years, have made an outstanding contribution to the Coal Bowl Classic.

This “Wall”, which was funded by Manulife Financial, is located in the gymnasia entrance and which contain the “Shining Star Awards”, one of which will be awarded each year beginning with Coal Bowl 2006.

The Coal Bowl Board of Directors are extremely pleased to present the 1st “Shining Star Award” in the “Wall of Recognition” to Saint Anthony Daniel Council 3209, Knights of Columbus. The local council of the Knights of Columbus have made an outstanding contribution to Coal Bowl by sponsoring and hosting the Coal Bowl banquet for each and every one of the 25 years of the classic.
