CAPE BRETON VICTORIA REGIONAL SCHOOL BOARD
APPLICATION FOR STUDENT SUMMER EMPLOYMENT
The Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board calls for applications for STUDENT SUMMER EMPLOYMENT for the following potential openings. Candidates will be expected to possess the ability to deal effectively with students and co-workers.
LAWN MAINTENANCE:
- Duties include grounds care using gas powered equipment including lawn mowers, grass trimmers, as well as other tools such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, etc. Duties on inclement weather days may include heavy lifting and moving materials or other related duties.
ENGINEER STUDENTS:
- Duties include assisting staff with utility reporting, work processes, document control and other related duties. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university undergraduate engineering diploma or degree program.
TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS:
- Duties include assisting staff with software installation, hardware installation, inventory, work processes, and other related duties. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a recognized Information Technology Program and possess a computer hardware and software repair skill set.
Copies of all certificates, diplomas or degrees must be attached.
