*****Student Drop-off******

The roadway around the building is one lane.  Students often exit their parents' vehicles on the passenger side which means they step out on the roadway.  IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY WE ASK YOU NOT TO PASS A STOPPED VEHICLE.  We also ask students not to linger as they exit a vehicle.  Just a reminder that the student drop-off has enough space for 3 vehicles at a time.

Parents as Career Coaches

Parents as Careers (PACC) is sponsored by the Nova Scotia Department of Education and is offered free of charge in schools across the province.

The program encourages parents and their children to consider many of the practical factors that will impact career decisions including skills, the labour market, and educational and training opportunities. Please click here for more information.

Student Safety - Drop Off Area

The safety of our students and staff is a daily priority. Our OHS team meets regularly, evacuation procedures and lock down drills are practiced on a regular schedule, procedures are reviewed with our staff, and teachers are required to have our red safety folder on the desk at all times.

In connection with our focus on safety, we would like to bring to your attention a situation which is developing at the student drop-off on the Kings Road side of the school. The roadway around the building is one lane. Students often exit their parents’ vehicles on the passenger side which means they step out on to the roadway. In the interest of safety we ask you not to pass a stopped vehicle. We also ask students not to linger as they exit a vehicle. Just a reminder that the student drop-off has enough space for three vehicles at a time.
