1 - All nature has been created by Kji-niskam
2 - Spirituality was inherited in every aspect of their lives
3 - Animate and inanimate objects had their own spirt
4 - They were links in the chain of living things
                 

5 - Animals offered themselves as a source of food
6 - Animal bones should be treated carefully and respectfully 
7 - Fasting was encouraged among younge boys
8 - Shamans were in charge of spiritual, mental, and physical health
9 - Shamans could contact the spirits
10 - Spirituality played a role in birth, marrige, and death
11 - When youth reached puberty, sexual experimentation was permitted
12 - A Shaman could grant or devorice
13 - CHildren born out of wedlock were taken in by the grandparents
14 - It was a common practice to perpare for death with dignity
15 - Shamans used traditional items such as sweetgrass, drums, and rattles
