Petrie is located along the scenic Colliery Trail in New Victoria, NS.
The Fort is situated on the ocean with a spectacular view of North Sydney
and surrounding areas.
On a clear day you can see every detail of the communities accross the harbor. If you are lucky you might even catch one of the Marine Atlantic ferries, or a foreign cruise ship in the summer months, arriving or departing. If
you are not familiar with the area I have inserted a map below to give
a rough approximation of where you can find Fort Petrie.
