Author's Notes:
Welcome Back! I hope everyone had a nice break. I would like to introduce an addition to our classroom. Miss Dondi Pate is a teaching intern from Meredith College. She is not a new face to the students. She has been observing and teaching in our classroom for awhile. She will be teaching more this track-in time. You are welcome to come in and meet her.
Our Human Growth and Development unit begins next week. If you have not signed the blue permission sheet, please look for one in the folder today.
The Wallaby Hop is coming up March 28. This year a silent auction will be part of the activities. Each class will donate a basket to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Our basket will have a gardening theme. I have a basket. If you could donate an item to include in our basket that has something to do with gardening, it would be most appreciated.
The next Accelerated Reader Celebration will be April 17. The students have until April 15 to reach their reading goal. Please encourage them to read!
The class continues to need juice for Friday's snacktime, paper towels, and soft tissues. Thank you for any donations that you could make.
