Technology Report

SAP Daily Tasks
We closed 1027 routine work orders since November 15. Major requests such as telecommunications cabinet at Riverview, major virus clean up at Glace Bay High,  computer lab upgrade at Whitney Pier Memorial and Morrison, upgrade of 64 computers in grade four to six at Glace Bay Elementary, as well as monitor upgrades in two labs at Glace Bay High.
Internet Connectivity
Eastlink internet installs are complete.
Computers for Schools
Since November, the Technology Department and Computers for Schools installed over 207 computers, eight network laser printers, 68 monitors and one scanner in our School Board. We delivered 74 computers within the community as charitable donations.
P-12 Refresh
During November and December we installed, configured and delivered one video camera, one digital still camera, three laptops, four Imac computers and 66 computer systems.
